Nordic Nature Market Initiative is a non-profit association working to support the development of credible, transparent and effective nature markets in the Nordic region.
We bring together stakeholders across sectors to advance knowledge, collaboration and practical solutions for nature-positive development.

What We Do
We initiate innovation projects, facilitate collaboration and contribute to the development of policies, standards and practical frameworks for Nordic nature markets.
Our work supports long-term environmental value creation and sustainable use of natural resources. We help companies make strategic decisions about how they can use a responsible nature credit market.
We promote the development of a responsible nature credit market aligned with the High-Level Principles of the Biodiversity Credit Alliance and the work of the Integrity Council for the Voluntary Carbon Market on the Core Carbon Principles.
Our scope covers the Nordic region, with the ambition to strengthen regional cooperation and create shared approaches to nature markets.
